Jackal Assault will be one of a handful of games


Since the game was already planned as a freebie for Infinite Warfare purchasers, there really no reason for Activision to hold it back from the rest of the rs2joyPlayStation VR player base. Chances are the game isn very long, and will likely give Activision a greater pool of players to gain feedback from, allowing the company to make better VR gamers in the future.Jackal Assault was first announced back in September during the Call of Duty XP event. Activision says the game 渋mmerses you in the cockpit of a Jackal, the personal, multi-role fighter jet\x9D from the upcoming Infinite Warfare.

 Jackal Assault will be one of a handful of games launching alongside the PlayStation VR release this month.With the holiday buying season coming up, and competition between Sony and Microsoft as strong as it ever been, it seems to be in Sony best interest to offer as many VR experiences for PlayStation VR owners as possible. While Microsoft has announced a VR headset coming in the future, it won make it out in time for the holiday season and hasn t yet been confirmed for Xbox, so Sony has to capitalize on the current opportunity to capture as many VR-interested gamers as possible.

 With the Microsoft Project Scorpio releasing next holiday season, Sony window of opportunity to hog VR sales in the market is small.What do you think about Jackal Assault becoming free for all PS4 owners?
